Postingan pertama dari Indonesia

Gak kerasa, udah hampir 3 bulan gw sekeluarga balik lagi ke Indonesia. Many things has happened during that time: Kita sekarang udah gak nebeng ama nyokap (walopun ni rumah masih kosong melompong. Anggep aja kyk rumah dijepang), Reyhan udah sekolah, and Adek udah bisa jalan. Sebenernya udah lama sih gw pingin nulis, tapi berhubung gak ada bedinde, trus Adek gak bisa diajak kompromi banget, baru duduk sebentar depan kompi, dia udah cuap2. Tuh kan, sekarang aja udah nyanyi lagi. Ya udah dulu deh, ntar disambung lagi kalo ada waktu n mood.

Sayonara Japan

All my bags are packed, I'm ready to go,
I'm standing here outside the dorm,
I hate to buzz you up to say goodbye,

'Cause I'm leaving on a jet plane,
don't know when I'll be back again,
Oh dear pals, I hate to go

How do I say goodbye to what we had?
The good times that made us laugh
Outweigh the bad.

I don't know where this road Is going to lead
All I know is where we've been And what we've been through.
If we get to see tomorrow I hope it's worth all the wait

And I'll take with me the memories
To be my sunshine after the rain
It's so hard to say goodbye to yesterday....

(Taken from 'Leaving on a jet plane' and 'It's so hard to say goodbye to yesterday')

So,
Goodbye, everybody, I had to go
gotta leave you all behind to face the fate.
May Allah guides us all always and gives us what best for us.
See you in Jakarta soon.

'till we meet again

Hanabi Freak

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Gampang pula nge-setnya. Tapi syaratnya satu, kudu pake tripod karena kalo gak pasti goyang (mode itu pake bukaan yg gede tapi speed rendah). Sooooo.... langsung dong, mama minta (plus maksa) dibeliin tripod. Untung Mas oke2 aja, karena kan bisa buat investasi tokh, tripod ntu (Alesan aja sih. Pokoke beliiii).

Jadilah, tanggal 17 Agustus, hari kemerdekaan Indonesia, kita nyatronin akihabara buat nyari tripod. Alhamdulillah, dapet juga yg bagus n lagi sale abis2an (dari harga 14 rebu jadi cuma 3 rebu euy. Kalo rejeki emang gak kemana). Bukan apa apa, tanggal 20 nya kan ada hanabi di kumagaya, udah dipesenin tempat pula sama temennya Tanaka-san. So, rugi dong kalo gak dapet gambar yg bagus.

Dan..... eng ing engg..... Inilah hasilnya:

Cantik yaaa????? I just love fireworks. Sayangnya, the pictures don't do justice to the real, awesome, magnificent fireworks. Kecil2 sih. So, kebayang kan, segimana gedenya itu para kembang api?

Sekarang, ane mo shalat subuh dulu trus tidurrrrrr..... (begadang nih, buat bikin ini postingan. Gile gak sih?)

Asakusa Hanabi

Masuk bulan Juli-Agustus, jepang mulai rame dengan suara dar-der-dor kembang api alias hanabi. Since this is our last summer in Japan, we decide to see as many hanabi as possible. The first one that we wanted to see was the one in kita-senju, near tuti-didin's house, on july 28. Alas, 2 days before the d-date, Izza sakit panas, sampai 40 derajat pula. We were afraid that it's something serious, so we cancelled the plan. It turned out that she was growing teeth, and when the teeth appeared, the fever disappeared. And she also can stand now, starting on july 24, even though she's still a bit unsteady and need to hold on to something to support herself.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com Image hosted by Photobucket.com

I got information from TV and internet that there would be a huge hanabi in Asakusa on Saturday, July 30. Ahaaa.... that's what we're looking for, now that Izza's healthy again. So, on that saturday, we went to tokyo by train (actually, we wanted to go by bus but there was no longer a saturday bus service, starting on that very day. Just our luck!). It was my first trip to Asakusa and it was very very crowded. Not to mention the heat! We didn't spend much time at the temple because of those reasons, so we went to the riverside park and waited for the hanabi to start.

Luckyly, we got a quite nice place in a stadium. Unfortunately, our sitting place was in front of the alley where people just didn't stop mill around. More or less, we enjoyed the show. And these are the pictures that I managed to take (some of the pictures are not very clear due to the smoke. It turned out that we were facing the wind so the smoke and even bits of hanabi residue drifted towards us).

Beautiful, aren't they? Oooh, I can't wait to watch the next ones. Altough I'm not sure Reyhan agrees with the rest of us (he absolutely refused to see or even take his hands off his ears the whole time we were watching the show, while his sister happyly watch it)

Iro iro

Yang namanya game komputer emang selalu bikin pusing. Pertama, pusing kalo kalah melulu. Kedua, pusing lagi kalo masih pengen maen trus free trialnya udah abis (maklum, nyarinya download gratisan sih. hehehe). Abis gimana, satu lawan dua, mana lawannya kuat2 pula (yg satu pemilik kompi, satunya lagi raja). Gimana mo menang, coba?

Untunglah hari ini sang pemilik lagi turun gunung, ke kampus buat liat nilai dan sang raja ikut, mau maen sepatu roda katanya. Tinggal dirumah bedua deh ama tuan putri yg sekarang namanya jadi putri tidur (kl siang tiduuuurrrrr aja. begitu diluar gelap, langsung bulettt melek matanya). Apdet dulu aahhhhh.

Makan2 deh kita. Hhhhhmmmmmm..... yummyyy. Makasih banyak ya mbak Is dan Mia.

Emang udah ditungguin sama mayumi n anak2nya. Waaahhh, udah pada gede-gede yaaaa... Sugemi jadi kawaiiii deh, gak setembem n sepesek dulu lagi. hehehe.... Balik dari situ jam 8.30. Tapi gak langsung pulang. Belanja kangkung dulu di fuji garden (duuuhhh, jadi inget masa lalu deh) trus reyhan main di koen depan eki situ. Jam 9 lewat dikit kita naik kereta ke omiya.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Ternyata all the way from omiya itu kita naek kereta yg sama toh. hihihi.... Jadi pada ketawa2 deh.

Next, tanggal 18 juli, nonton gion matsuri di deket honjo eki. Nothing much to say except puanaaaaasssss. Tapi sempet foto-fotoan jg sih ama anak2 yang pake kimono, lucu2 deh. Ini foto2nya.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com Image hosted by Photobucket.com
Image hosted by Photobucket.com Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Asiiikkkk...

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Huuuu.... penonton kecewa. Jadi cuma nonton matsuri aja deh.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Trus, Hari jum'atnya, tanggal 23, Tante Rizka n Om Ali jalan-jalan ke Honjo. Abis bapak-bapak shalat jum'at bareng dibawah, trus kita pesta bakso deh dilounge itu sementara anak-anak main di tenda bolanya reyhan yang baru beli kemarin. Seru juga euy (kalo rasa baksonya sih jangan ditanya..... kurang sukses krn dicampur tofu yg aromanya kok rada aneh ya??? Nyesel jg beli tofu merk itu. Coba2 sih). Trus nganterin para tamu keliling2 kampus n main tenis deh.

Wiiih... ternyata rame juga ya kegiatan 2 minggu kemaren. Ini belon termasuk cerita2 tentang Izza. Itu buat posting berikutnya deh. hehehe....

Brownies 'ala Zizil

Akhirnyaaa.... daku sempet nulis lagi disini. Setelah sekian minggu dan hari si blogger ini dicuekin, sampe ditereakin sama tetangga "Apdet....apdett (yg tereak ngacung!)", baru sekarang deh ada waktu.

Sebelum cerita panjang-lebar-dalam, gw mo tulis resep brownies dulu deh, biar yg kemaren udah kursus bisa praktek sendiri dirumah.

Brownies 'ala Zizil (nama mantan temen kost yg udah berbaik hati nurunin resep brownies ini ke gw dan temen2 kost yg laen)

Bahan A:
150 gr margarin (bisa dikombinasiin dgn butter, perbandingan 50:50)
125 gr gula pasir halus
65 gr coklat bubuk
80 ml minyak goreng

Bahan B:
3 butir telur
200 gr gula pasir halus

Bahan C:
200 gr tepung terigu
1 sdm baking powder

Cara membuat:
5. Tuang campuran C kedalam campuran A dan B sedikit demi sedikit. aduk rata.
6. Tuang kedalam loyang yg sudah dilapisi, ratakan. Taburi kacang almond cincang kalau suka.
7. Panggang di oven suhu 180 derajat selama 18 menit. Angkat (sebaiknya tes tusuk dgn tusuk sate dulu untuk memastikan bhw brownies sudah matang, yaitu adonan tdk melekat di tusuk sate. Kalo masih nempel, tambah lagi waktu panggang sekitar 3-5 menit).
8. Jadi deh, brownies yang yummyyyy (garing diluar, legit didalam) :)

Resep bakso

Aaahhhhhh..... akhirnya sempet juga ngisi blog. Walopun sebenernya kerjaan ngedit masih ada, tp mumpung ada waktu luang deh, isi dikit ajah.

Due to my dear friend devina's request (hehehe.....), sekarang gw mo nulisin resep bakso dulu deh (abis daripada doski bulak balik ke toko indonesia cuma beli bakso yang 20 biji harganya ampe seribu yen!).

Bahan2:
1 sdt garam (cicipin, kl kurang asin ya ditambah aja)

Angkat. Tiriskan.

Nulis dikit deh!

Wadaw... udah lama juga gak ngisi blog. Padahal sih udah gatel pengen nulis, tapi gak sempet aja. Yang kompinya dipake reyhan laaa... yang lagi masak2 laaa.... (btw, gw jadi getol banget masak belakangan ini. Akibatnya, makannya jg jadi getol. Menjulang deh berat badan gw). Inget sih requestnya si bayu buat ikutan musical baton, tp mana sempaaaattttt!!! keburu telaaattttt!!! (caile... mas. die kenal jg kagak ama gw).

eniwe, sekarang malah disuruh edit paper mas (jangan ketawa ya dev), berhubung beliyaw udah diuber2 dedlain thesis ke sensei, tp makalahnya masih belon klaar jg. Jadi deh ikut pusing. Serasa balik ke C'nS lagi nih (bu Noni, tolong duooonggg..... Ups, ntar dikasih gambar tengkorak lagi nih sama bu Noni tersayang. hehehe...)

My Pooh cake

Udah kira2 seminggu ini ikutan milis dapurbunda. Wah, bawaannya jadi pingin masak melulu, abis ngeliat resep2 yg sedap2 punya, terus juga liat blog dapurnya2 orang2 kayak dapurnya mbak Inong (modsnya dapurbunda), mbak Riana, dan Mia. Akhirnya dapet ide buat bikin kue coklat yg uenaaakkkk dan dihias jadi mukanya the pooh.

Kuenya tipe sponge cake, isinya 2 macam yaitu isi vla (kayak buat gateau africa 'ala mbak Riana) dan coklat gateau-nya mbak Inong.

Biar deh, asal gak rewel. Seru juga sih, ngocok telor sambil ngejagain supaya adek gak ngejambret or nendang itu adonan.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
Aduuh.... mama didapur melulu sih (itu mungkin yg dipikirin sama si adek)

Akhirnya, kue siap dipanggang n masuk oven. Selama nunggu kue mateng, nyiapin buttercreamnya. Pas ngocok mentega, adek bangun n nangis lagi (tadi dia sempet tidur n ditaro ditempat tidur). Ya udah deh, digendong belakang pake gendongan ransel aja deh (perlu kerja pake 2 tangan soale). Sampai kue mateng n mo dihias buttercream, terus si ade digendong belakang. Untung gak lama kemudian mas pulang, jadi Izza langsung berpindah tangan. Dan gak lama kemudian, voila! jadilah kue pooh pertamaku. Gimana tampangnya, cakep gak? Rasanya? wooo.... gurih banget (iya lah, segala ada). Tapi buttercreamnya rada gagal sih. Biar lah, namanya juga percobaan. Next time I'm sure it'll be much better.

Ini dia kuenya. Ada yang mau? Marilah kemari deh, 'tak potongin. hehehe....

Reyhan dan kabuto

Lately, Reyhan is crazy about kabuto (stag beetle). I don't know what cause it, but he's so determined to get one that he asked over and over again to go looking for it in the 'forest' outside. Finally, Mas buys him a kabuto at Tostem for 700 yen. At first we think that we only buy one kabuto (the male one). But then, at home, we realize that there are 2 kabutos in the cage, a couple actually. So, there they are, in our room, Reyhan's first pets (can we call beetles "pet"?) . Wanna know what their food provided by the store? it's jelly, you know, like nata de coco and stuff, the small jelly for kids. That's their food!

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Reyhan 'the kabuto' (see the 'tanduk' on his forehead?) and his kabutos (look closer and you'll see it inside the box on the right side)

The problem is, kabuto is a night bug. During daytime, they hide and sleep under ground (in their natural habitat). But at night, they go out and fly out to the trees, looking for food (which is tree trunk). So, when we're ready to bed, they're ready to play! It's really difficult for me to sleep with them buzzing and cracking around (it seems like I'm the only who is bothered by that sounds, 'cause mas and the children have no difficulty sleeping. How could I sleep while everytime I hear the sound, I feel like they're flying above my head?)

Ada nyamuk di kamarkuuuu....

Spring is coming, and as usual, so does rain. It's been raining for several days now, and judging from the weather forecast, tomorrow is going to be cloudy too. Since we couldn't go out because Mas has to work on his project, I don't feel too upset about this weather. It even reminds me of lembang, because our dorm is surrounded by pine 'forrest'.

Another thing that spring brings out is mosquitos (or 'ka' in japanese). They start to show up everywhere, even in our room. I guess they hide in Mas's hair when he return home (his thick hair is a perfect hiding place for them).

There are several kinds of mosquitos that you can find in Japan, one of them is the aides eigepty (aduuhh... gimana sih spellingnya? I mean the one responsible for the dengue fever). I found one when I was preparing Izza's porridge (the complete story is here). Back then in Saitama city, most of the mosquitos I found were also this kind of mosq. But to my amazement (I don't know whether other people find it amazing or not), there are no dengue fever here. And I wonder why? I mean, if they are the same kind of mosq, then surely there are some (or at least a few) cases of dengue fever in Japan also. But there aren't. Does it only happen in 'third world' country like Indonesia? I don't know. What do you think?

Missing Mayumi

Udah gedean anak dia pula, dibanding Reyhan (Kazuki yg no.1 beda umurnya 3 thn ama Reyhan).

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
Gun-chan, Kazuki-kun dan Reyhan-kun didepan rumah Sakaji-san

Untungnya dia ngerti dikit2 bahasa Inggris, jadi masih bisa komunikasi ama gw (dibanding tetangga yg lain kyk Tomomi ato Sakuma-san, yg sama sekali gak mudeng eigo). Emang sih, kl ngobrol Mayumi masih bawa kamus, tapi dia seneng krn katanya dia bisa ngelancarin bhs inggrisnya.

Pertama kali gw kerumah dia, terkaget-kaget deh. Soalnya, dipikiran gw, rumah jepang itu kayak rumahnya si Nobita (temennya doraemon) yg rapiii jali. Ternyata pas gw kerumahnya Mayumi, waduuhhhh... berantakan pisan. Penuh banget. Maklum lah, anak 3 sih. Tapi soal taat ama aturan n waktu, Mayumi sih jepang banget deh. Pokoke on time selalu, jadi kalo janjian mo pergi ama dia ya kita gedubrakan krn gak enak kalo telat mulu.

I said before, Tomomi didn't speak eigo, so Mayumi became our translator).

Dia gendong anak pula. Tp pantang mengeluh tu orang. Tobs banget dah (kalo kata Mia).

Dia pernah cerita sih, kalo dia tuh seneng banget dapet tetangga gw. Karena penghuni apato sebelon gw tuh rada2 psycho gitu, sampe pernah ngeguntingin baju anak2nya Mayumi yg lagi dijemur. Terus ngambilin surat2nya dia. Pokoke bikin dia stress deh, ampe rontok rambut katanya. hehe.... Kesian. Makanya pas gw sekeluarga dateng, dia hepi gitu.

And then, waktu gw pengen foto pake kimono, dia minjemin yukatanya buat gw foto, sodara2! Sekalian didandanin ama dia. Wah gw ampe gak enak banget, tapi dia seneng tuh, ngeliat gw foto pake yukata dia.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
Ini foto gw dirumah dia, pake yukata dia. Gw lagi hamil 4,5 bulan tuh

Yang paling lucu, waktu ngobrol2 soal Indonesia selama naik sepeda ke naka urawa (seminggu sekali kita belanja kesitu bedua. Kadang gw ajak reyhan, kadang nggak. Tapi dia selalu bawa Sugemi). Dia tanya soal POLIGAMI cing! Terus dia tanya lagi, ortu n mertua gw gimana? gw bilang, mereka semua monogami kok. Belakangan dia tanya, "Tapi Agung-san istrinya cuma SATU kan?" Waaakkkk!!! Gw langsung jawab, "Ya iya lah. Pengen diBACOK (tau bacok kan? yg pake golok tu...), mo punya bini lebih dari satu?" (kalimat yg terakhir gak gw keluarin sih, cuma dalem ati aja. Karena gak tau bahasa inggrisnya bacok apaan. hehehe....)

Gw sempet juga masak bareng ama dia, bikin roti goreng. Dia bilang, "Oishiiii...." krn emang dia penggemar roti. Masa bisa sih, makan siang cuma roti selembar. Pantes aja langsing (gak kyk gw yg langsung). Kl gw, roti selembar mah cuma kuat 1 jam. Tapi gw suka juga kirim2 makanan ke dia, kyk brownies, ato kl kebetulan lagi bikin kolak kabocha n es teler. Gantinya, dia juga suka kirim macem2, tp gw udah bilang bhw gw gak bisa makan buta niku (daging babi), jadi dia kirim yg gak mengandung daging. Dia pernah kirimin kita makanan sejenis dodol, tapi dibungkus ama daun yg belon pernah gw temuin. Tu daun wangiiiiiiii.... banget, kyk wangi bedak dingin. Ilang selera deh, makan dodolnya. Akhirnya ampe dipilihin dulu waktu mo makan karena gak kuat wanginya. Terus pernah juga dikirimin kayak dadar pake sayuran gitu (kyknya makanan khas jepang, tp gak ngerti apa namanya). Dadarnya sih gak papa, tapi atasnya dikasih saos jepang yg rasanya ampuuunnnn.... gak bisa dijelasin deh. Once again, gak ada yg mampu makan, akhirnya sebagian besar kebuang deh. Maap ya May.....

Kapan ya bisa maen kerumahnya lagi? Reyhan sih udah dari dulu pengen, kangen sama Gun-chan pasti. Gw jg pengen ngasih unjuk Izza-chan sama mereka, biar liat hasil jerih payah nganterin ke dokter. Wah, jadi pengen cepet2 kesono. Moga2 thesis mas cepet kelar, jadi bisa jalan2 lageee......

Agung Vs Ully, Reyhan Vs Fayza

Come to think of it, I find it amazing how four people who have completely different personalities can live together in harmony.

My children couldn't be more diferent.
Reyhan is boisterous, Fayza is quiet.
Reyhan can't sit still for more than 5 minutes, Fayza spends most of her time observing his action.
Reyhan needs 2 hours to finish a bowl of food, Fayza tries to grab any food we eat.
Reyhan eats so many thing (snack, mostly) and still so thin, Fayza drinks only breastmilk and doubles her weight in 5 months.
Reyhan must be embraced to sleep, Fayza drifts to sleep by herself.
Reyhan got sick almost every month until he's one-year-old, Fayza only got sick twice so far and only light flu.
Reyhan have never, ever fallen from a bed, Fayza did while she was just 4 months old.
Reyhan seems to be easily scared, Fayza dares to try anything.
But of course, as children, they like nice things such as toys, movies, books and ice cream (well, Izza haven't eaten it yet, of course, but I'm sure she'll love it).

Between Mas and I, it's more or less the same thing.
He is punctual, I usually (most of the time, actually) postpone everything until the last minute.
He is pessimistic, I'm optimistic.
He is quiet, I'm talkative.
He doesn't like to be in the crowd, I love parties.
He has never had a best friend, I have friends everywhere.
He is patient, I'm impatient.
He is organized, I'm un-organized.
His room was very neat, my room was a mess.
He says "chocolate is bitter", I say "I can't live without it"
He never could memorize his own phone numbers, I memorize them all for him.
His idea of doing sport is playing games of basketball and soccer on computer, I hate those games and much prefer the 'real' activity
And yet, here we are, completely perfect for each other........

Oh Shout box......

Ada yg gak beres nih ama shoutbox. Suddenly, I can't write in any shoutbox, mine or other's. Kenapa ya? Padahal tumben2an nih shoutbox gw rame, banyak yg ngunjungin. Maklum, baru ngedaptarin diri di blogfam.

Jadi, teman2ku dari blogfam, makasih banyak ya udah ngunjungin my humble site. Tapi maap sekali gw gak bisa ngebales salamnya (gw jg udah ngunjungin rumah2 kalian lho. Gileee.... keren2.

balikin o o balikin..... cookie-ku yg kemarin diilangin.....

A journey through time

As our time grow shorter,
I become moodier and sadder,
As I imagine leaving this place behind,
to go back home where we belong

And these are some of my wonderful memory of my life (and journey) in Japan
